Centre Point Trust Nursery is based at Rope Walk, Green Street and is open Monday-Friday, 7.30am-6.00pm, 52 weeks of the year and caters for children aged 2-5 years. We are closed on all Public Bank Holidays.
The nursery is split over 2 floors. The ground floor is for ages 2-3 years and is charged at a rate of £5.79 per hour and the 1st floor is for ages 3-5 years at a rate of £4.78 per hour. The nursery also caters for children accessing the Nursery Educational Funding of 20 hours per week term time only. The 20 hours of funding will start in the September following your child’s 3rd birthday. Each floor has its own outside play area and a separate forest area for tree climbing, exploring and investigating natural materials and bug hunting etc.
The environment is arranged both inside and outside into learning areas which offer play opportunities in construction, small world, role-play, water, sand, messy play, physical activities, creative activities, books and music. The children enjoy making their own choices and can free-flow into any of the learning areas.
Centre Point Trust Nursery follows the Birth to Three Matters Framework for ages 2-3 years and for the older age group the Foundation Stage Curriculum. We plan our themes and topics around the children’s needs and interests. Through observations we plan for your child’s next stage of learning. During the year we also celebrate festivals, the seasons and fixed events such as Easter and Christmas.
At Centre Point Trust Nursery we also take our children on regular outings on foot or by minibus to various places of interest such as the Library, Reg’s Garden, the Zoo and the Beach during the summer. For a small additional cost we also offer swimming lessons at nearby Cheshire Homes where the children learn to be safe in the water.
